Words For Wednesday: The Day's Movement (poem)

I. Dawn
Moon covers his head under the sheets
While Sun sweeps her hand over the hillsides.
Ruffling the roosters feathers before he crows.

II. Morning
I woke in the garden to a purple sun.
The Morning Glory whispers the day's love for me.

III. Dusk
The drunken butterfly dances towards the setting sun.
Determined to love the biggest flower he's seen
Before she wilts below the horizon.

IV. Night
The Wolf's howling swoons the Moon.
She blushes luminously.
